Laundry Check Bag Style Knit Shorts

This knitted fabric recreates the pattern of a laundry check bag. By combining cotton boucle yarn and washi paper, we were able to develop a knitted fabric that is cool and crisp, yet soft and fluffy, like a towel, and is very pleasant to the touch. By creating the pattern by combining bag jacquard and single jacquard rather than knitting it with jacquard, we were able to reduce the amount of yarn used while creating a well-defined knitted fabric, which also led to a lighter weight. These knitted shorts are easy to care for and can be washed at home.
