Knitted Denim Pants with Hand Stitching

These shorts reimagine Levi's denim through a knitted construction. Crafted using over five types of yarn, the fabric features a specialized structure that replicates the texture of twill weave.
Produced on rare, modified knitting machines found in only a few locations in Japan, the fabric is unique in that it does not fray when cut, allowing it to be handled just like woven cloth.
In addition to distressed detailing, the design incorporates crochet work featuring the signature "red line" (selvedge) on the back pockets and a knitted rendition of the classic cinch back.
Each pair is finished with hand-stitching applied by artisans over the course of approximately ten hours. They are machine washable at home.
