Hand Stitched Rigid Denim Knit Pants

This collection updates vintage styles with knitwear. This collection recreates the Levi's 501XX in knitwear. It's made with a rigid denim-like knit fabric. A twill weave is recreated by knitting various cotton yarns and alternating the front and back with a single jacquard. Despite being knit, the material resists stretch, highlighting its texture and creating a unique material somewhere between knitwear and woven fabric. It's highly prized because it's only produced on limited knitting machines. All stitching is hand-stitched by artisans. The red selvedge on the back pocket is also handmade with a crochet hook. Details like the cinch back and coin pocket are also included. Machine washable. The waist can be adjusted with a drawcord.
