Hand Stitched Rigid Denim Knit Jacket

A collection that updates vintage with knitwear. Levi's second model is recreated in knitwear. A rigid denim-like fabric is created in knitwear. A twill weave is recreated by knitting various cotton yarns and alternating the front and back with a single jacquard. Despite being knit, the material is resistant to stretch, highlighting the texture and creating a unique material that is somewhere between knitwear and woven fabric. It is highly prized as it is only produced on a limited number of knitting machines. All stitching is hand-stitched by artisans. The red selvedge on the chest pocket is also handmade with a crochet hook. Machine washable.
