Army Knit Shirt Jacket

This knit shirt is crafted using an incredibly meticulous process, taking 1950s U.S. Army shirts as a motif and re-cutting and sewing knitted fabric as if it were a cut-and-sew garment.
It faithfully reproduces the unique details of military shirts, such as the diagonally intersecting back yoke, oversized pockets, and a playful original mill-spec tag made of knit fabric on the yoke.
The material uses bulky wool yarn, knitted in a double-face structure to provide warmth and wind resistance, while ensuring the necessary structure and firmness for a shirt.
By using specialized machinery to devise the knit structure, we have achieved a lightweight, stress-free fit.
Combining warmth and lightness, this piece offers an elegant drape unique to knitwear that woven shirts cannot provide. It is also machine washable at home.
