Knitted Denim Jacket with Hand Stitching

A reconstruction of the Levi's Type III jacket in knit. Using over five types of yarn, a twill-like texture has been achieved through the use of a specialized knitting machine.
This rare fabric, created by only a few modified knitting machines in Japan, does not fray even when cut, allowing it to be treated like woven fabric.
The front and back panels feature distressed detailing, and the red tab next to the pocket is hand-knitted by artisans.
Furthermore, the entire piece features hand-stitching that took artisans approximately 10 hours to complete; it is a garment packed with time and craftsmanship. Machine washable at home.
