A collection that updates vintage styles through knitwear. These pieces recreate the details of 90s Levi's 565 double-knee denim. We developed a black denim-style fabric using eight types of complex yarns. By knitting these various yarns together using a single jacquard technique that alternates between the front and back, we successfully replicated a twill weave structure. Despite being knit, the material is resistant to stretching, offering a unique texture that sits somewhere between knitwear and woven fabric, and it is also machine washable. Production is limited to specific knitting machines, making these pieces highly rare. The red selvedge on the back pockets is handmade using crochet, and details such as the cinch back and coin pocket have also been faithfully reproduced. This is a special item featuring realistic damage and repairs expressed through holes, distress, zigzag stitching, reversed patches, hand-stitching, and airbrushing.
