Army Knit Shirt Jacket

This knit shirt is crafted using a highly labor-intensive process, inspired by 1950s U.S. Army shirts, where the knit fabric is cut and sewn just like a cut-and-sew garment.
It meticulously reproduces the unique details of military shirts, such as the diagonally intersecting back yoke, oversized pockets, and a playful original mill-spec tag crafted from knit material on the yoke.
The material is made from bulky wool yarn knit in a double-face structure, which ensures not only warmth and wind resistance but also the necessary crispness and structural integrity for a shirt.
By utilizing specialized machinery to refine the knit structure, we have achieved a lightweight, stress-free fit.
Combining warmth with lightness, this piece offers an elegant drape unique to knitwear that woven shirts cannot provide. It is also machine washable at home.
